Martin Phillips, Sales Executive

After a 30 year career in the steel construction industry as Executive Vice President and COO of Kline Iron and Steel Company, and CEO of FabTech Industries, Inc., Martin and his wife, Anne, decided they wanted to move to the coast – a place where they vacationed and loved for it was Anne’s childhood home. They came back to the coast for all the same reasons why people buy an investment property, second home or move permanently…the lifestyle.

Martin joined the Litchfield Company Real Estate in 2005, and soon he and Anne became one of the top producers for the company. After eight years and building a brand for his team, Martin decided to find a place where a mix personal promotion along with the national, regional and local efforts would be more of a benefit for his clients and his team….enter RE/MAX Golf & Beach.

Martin was born and raised in Spartanburg, SC native, and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. Martin brings vast experience in sales and management from the corporate construction world. Martin and his team focus on resort and residential real estate sales, commercial real estate sales and development, 1031 tax deferred exchanges and investment properties. Martin, with teammate and wife Anne, and their seasoned support team consistently land them high honors as the top sales team in Georgetown County and the surrounding area.

Anne Phillips, Sales Executive

Anne loves real estate sales, and it is what she has done and loved all her career. Her sales career in Columbia and Spartanburg earned her numerous awards. As a Georgetown County native, Anne looked forward to coming home. Together they became one of the top producing teams along the Waccamaw Neck. In 2013, they were named the top sales team of The Litchfield Company and of the Waccamaw Neck!

Anne enjoys time as a church volunteer and supporter of various civic a charity groups such as Brookgreen Gardens. Anne is an aspiring golfer and especially enjoys spending time with her family which includes two daughters and five granddaughters. Anne is delighted to offer her experience, knowledge and love of the area to help others realize and enjoy the wonderful lifestyle that brought her back home.

Anne Phillips Carter, Sales Executive

Martin and Anne’s daughter, Anne Phillips Carter, recently joined the Martin Phillips Properties real estate team. Known as “Annie” by her family, she will be listing and selling properties as well as overseeing marketing and coordinating transactions for the team.

She was born in Spartanburg, SC and raised in Columbia, SC, but Annie has always felt that Pawleys Island was her true home. As a young girl, she spent her every summer here in Pawleys Island—this beautiful and historical place where her mom was raised, even where her grandparents and great-grandparents grew up.

An athlete by nature, Annie played tennis in college and then chased her dreams of being a snowboarder and moved out west to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Once she returned to the east coast, she worked as a nurse at Roper Hospital in Charleston and East Georgia Regional in Statesboro, Georgia.

Becoming a real estate agent was the natural next step for this mother of three beautiful daughters. Her passion for real estate began at a young age as Annie would go along with her Realtor® mom to open houses. Over the years, she observed as her mom would listen intently to her clients’ needs and wants. She realized, along with her warm and friendly nature, being a good listener will help her clients have a seamless and satisfying transaction.

Annie thrilled her parents just over a year ago when she moved her crew back to Pawleys Island to enjoy life close to her family. “I am so happy to be living back in Pawleys Island where my children can be an intimate part of my parents lives,” says Annie. In fact, she has seen the Waccamaw Neck blossom over the years and is always enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge of the area with her clients. “The Pawleys Island area is a wonderful place to raise a family. I would love the opportunity to help other families find a home in this special place I get to now call home.”

When Annie isn’t busy with real estate, she loves spending time with her girls, going to the beach, playing tennis, and reading. Also, being an active member of The Abbey Church plays a big role in her life. Five words you can count on from Anne Phillips Carter: Integrity, hard work, commitment, passion, and kindness.

Over 25 years in real estate amenity community – master planned development marketing. She was Director of Marketing for The Litchfield Company of Pawleys Island for 12 years, and was an integral part of the management team who sold over $1 billion in real estate in 8 years.

Kathy Dapolite, Administration

From Cold Spring, NY, Kathy has lived in the lowcountry since 1999. She has been the RE/MAX Office Manager and a licensed assistant to the broker in charge for over 12 years.
